Around 1.30pm police were notified by a member of the public after she had concerns about the erratic driving of another motorist.

Police located the motorist on Maudsland Road and conducted a breath test where she provided a positive result and was transported to Coomera Police Station for further testing.

A 48-year-old Wongawallan woman has been charged with driving under the influence of liquor after she allegedly returned a breath alcohol concentration of 0.318 percent.

She is expected to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on October 24.
